20:24 Ministries: 2025 Scholarships

20:24 Ministries is a Broward County based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization seeking to serve the poor and unhoused through community outreach and ministry. 20:24 Ministries believes in the importance of pouring into our next generation of future leaders and change makers.

We will be hosting 2 Scholarships for the Fall 2025 school year. Our 20:24 Ministries Scholarships aims to assist one graduating high school senior planning to attend a post-secondary institution as well as one currently enrolled university student.

Please be advised that the scholarship period will open on Thursday, 1 May 2025 and will conclude on Friday, 1 August 2025.

If you are a selected winner, you will be notified via phone call on Monday, 1 September 2025.

Services Provided:

  • $500 Scholarship (ONE scholarship for a graduating high school student and ONE scholarship for a currently enrolled university student)

  • 1 Month of Mentorship with Labrena Coleman, MSW, LSW, LMSW; founder of H.E.R. Movement, Inc

  • Interview Prep and a Personalized Scholarship List from Janeisha Cambridge, M.S.; founder Zero Debt Degree 

  • Financial Advising and LinkedIn Coaching with Aaron Willims, CFO and founder of The Green Leaf LA & Kevin Poole, founder of K.P. Solutions, LLC

  • 2 Letters of Recommendation

Please provide two letters of recommendation. There is no length-requirement regarding the requested letters of recommendation, although we do request that the letters of recommendation do not come from family members; an acceptable form of recommendation may come from but is not limited to coaches, direct or indirect supervisors, or teachers.

  • Letter of Intent/Acceptance Letter OR Current College Transcript

Please provide a copy of your acceptance letter and/or letter of intent from your intended post-secondary institution OR provide a copy of your current college transcript.

  • Essay

Please provide a one-page essay answering one of the following prompts:

A: Tell us about a time you failed and what you learned from it.

B: Tell us about a time when you had a belief or idea challenged.​

C. How do you hope to make a difference in our world?
